Hancock to hold 10th annual Harvest Days

HANCOCK - Hancock celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Hancock Harvest Days this year on Friday and Saturday October 6 & 7 at the Hancock Town Square. This much-beloved annual event is presented by the Hancock Education Foundation.
Returning by popular demand to perform this year at the festival after appearing as part of Hancock's 2016 Summer Nights LIVE series will be Nino Reyos and TwoShields -- presenting live music and dance both days, as well as a display of Native American regalia and artifacts.
On Friday, celebrate Customer Appreciation Day with free giveaways, food, and door prizes at businesses located throughout the village. Brooks BBQ will be at the Town Square starting at 3 p.m.
, and Nino Reyos & TwoShields hold their first performance of the weekend at 4 p.m. on Friday.
At 5 p.m. on Friday, R&B artist Honey takes the stage with her original soulful, inspirational music that appeals to young and old alike.
On Saturday, the Town Square will be filled with crafters, food vendors, children's activities, and pumpkins from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Nino Reyos and TwoShields will also have a booth from 9 a.m. to noon that will give visitors an opportunity to meet the artists, view their regalia and Native American art and artifacts, and purchase CDs and Nino's hand-carved wooden flutes.
Also on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, SFCU's Hancock branch is offering an opportunity for visitors to bring in their sensitive documents for free shredding.
At 1 p.m. on Saturday, join us for the 10th annual Bob Ray Memorial Tractor Parade -- line-up at noon at Firemen's Park.
And from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m., Nino Reyos & TwoShields once again takes the stage for another lively performance of Native American music and dance.
