Savannah Sipping Society at the Rivoli

SOUTH FALLSBURG - Savannah Sipping Society, a comedic play written by Nicholas Hope, Jamie Wooten, and Jessie Jones, will be staged by the Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop at the Rivoli Theatre in South Fallsburg. The hilarious comedy highlights the lives of four middle-aged, Southern women Randa, Dot, Marlafaye, and Jinx who are all stuck in the redundancy of their lives and, despite their individual issues, strive to become enthusiastic about life again.
Directed by Harold Tighe and produced by Lillian Tighe, the play features Felice Schwed (Jinx), Ellen Pavloff (Randa), Heather Strauss (Marlafaye), Lynne Porter (Dot), and Constance Slater (Grandmother). The creative team includes Jim Schmidt (Technical Director), Heather Strauss (Costume Designer), and Harold Tighe (Set Designer).
Performances are September 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 8 p.m.
and the 15 and 22 at 2 p.m. at the Rivoli Theatre at 5243 Route 42 Main Street in South Fallsburg. Tickets are $15, and $12 for seniors (60 and over), students (with valid ID), and military/veterans and will be available at the door one hour prior to curtain for each performance. Tickets can also be purchased online in advance.
