CALLICOON - The Town of Delaware recently received two grants for projects that the town has been working on. One is for a salt shed and one is for the water district.

The town entered into an agreement with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation for a Water Quality Improvement Program (WQIP) grant up to an amount of $393,995 for a Highway Department salt shed.

The town also entered into an agreement with the NYS Environmental Facilities Corporation for a Water Infrastructure Improvement Act (WIIA) grant in the amount of $543,060 for the Callicoon Water District.
