SULLIVAN COUNTY — The Sheriff's Office is reminding businesses that the legal age to purchase tobacco products in Sullivan County is now 21. To help businesses prevent sales of tobacco and alcohol to minors, the Sheriff's Office is giving out free drivers license guides provided by Dana Distributors of Goshen, NY, to help merchants detect forged documents.

The guide books have valid examples driver licenses and ID cards from all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. In the photo Deputy Sheriff Kyle Geraine presents a guide book to Beer World owner Tony Patel and manager Will McGuire at their store in Monticello.
