MONTICELLO — On Wednesday at 2:41p.m., Monticello police responded to a 911 report of a shooting at 62 Park Avenue in the Village of Monticello, the same location where Carlos Serrano-Valentine murdered his wife's boyfriend last June. Upon arrival, it was learned that a 28- year-old Monticello man had received a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the hand. The victim had already been driven from the scene to CRMC in a private vehicle. Monticello police are investigating, assisted by the District Attorney's office, New York State Police and the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office.
