Catskill Mountains Resort debuts new banquet hall

BARRYVILLE -- The Catskill Mountains Resort celebrated the opening of their new banquet hall with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The event was hosted by the Greater Barryville NY Chamber of Commerce, and many fellow members, business owners, community members, and friends joined in the celebration. The banquet hall is the newest gem in the Catskill Mountains Resort crown, adding an option for parties and special events to the existing Mountainside Restaurant, Zac's Lounge, Inn rooms, cabins, salt water pool, and outdoor activities on the grounds of the former Sokol Gymnastics Camp.

The attention to detail and finishes present in the new construction banquet hall matches the care taken in the restoration of the main house and guest rooms. A large event space fashioned with rustic elegance with stone fireplace, central dance floor, bar, elegant facilities, high ceilings, garden area with water feature, and much more is the perfect location for weddings, special events, parties, or corporate functions.

Catskill Mountains Resort's newest space was the setting for the Yulan Fire Department's annual Installation Dinner for its maiden voyage, hosting over one-hundred volunteers and their guests to celebrate another year of service. The New Year's Eve celebration featured food, fun, and lots of dancing and the crowd partied into 2019 in style.

General Manager Andrew Filone offered a champagne toast at the event, looking forward to the great things the new space will offer while thanking the Zaccari Family for their commitment to the Resort and to making each added amenity successful.

After formally opening the space with a ribbon cutting, guests mingled and enjoyed company, conversation, cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres in the banquet hall.
