Fall was in the air this past weekend for the Jeffersonville Oktoberfest/Founder's Day event last Saturday featuring the town's annual tractor parade and some Oktoberfest influences.

The day started with a pancake breakfast and some light hearted competition, which included a pie eating contest at the firehouse and a wood splitting contest in the Backyard Park.

There were sidewalk sales, demonstrations, and vintage cars gathered in the center of town where owners exchanged stories of restoration.

At noon, the crowds migrated to the sidewalks and waved as tractors cruised down main street before heading to the Tavern on Main for some German food, drinks, games, and live music.
