Needle felting demonstrations, peg looms and floor looms, spinning and spindling, llamas and alpacas, goats, sheep and angora bunnies. If you're a lover of all things fiber, the Catskill Distillery was the place to be Saturday afternoon.

Hosted by the Distillery and sponsored by two of the largest registered alpaca farms in the state, Buck Brook Alpacas and Rosehaven Alpacas, the first ever Catskills Fiber Festival was a blast.

The ground was a bit soggy from weeks of rain, but the sun broke through the scattered clouds, heating up the day and allowing everyone who attended to enjoy the animals, exhibits, vendors and hands on demonstrations all afternoon.
