MONTICELLO — Members of the Sullivan Industrial Development Agency (IDA) met on September 11 at the Monticello Government Center.

At the meeting, the IDA extended sales tax abatements for Veria Lifestyle Wellness Resort, Jeff Sanitation and Hudson Valley Foie Gras Project, each for six months.

The 391-acre Veria Lifestyle Wellness Resort will be located on Anawana Lake Road in Monticello. In August, the resort asked the IDA for the extension so they can continue the construction.

Jeff Sanitation is continuing upgrades to the transfer station located in Kohlertown, in the Town of Delaware.

Hudson Valley Foie Gras Project is modifying two buildings previously occupied by fire truck manufacturer Sutphen East, at the Airport Industrial Park.

The IDA also held a special meeting to discuss and approve the fiscal assessment report for the 2016 bonds that were issued in order to finance public infrastructure improvements, installation of electrical systems and sewer and water construction for the Resort World Casino Catskills.
