Barbara Bellouny, age 83, died on March 23, 2021 at her home in Cochecton, NY.

Born Barbara Jeanne Holland in Charlotte, NC on November 2, 1937, Barbara met her husband of 64 years, Edmund Bellouny, while living with her mother and aunt in Queens, NY. The couple lived in Brooklyn, NY prior to moving to Cochecton.

Barbara was a dedicated wife and mother and a loving grandmother. She was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed all kinds of needle crafting during her free time. Barbara was also an avid animal lover who enjoyed caring for many furry and feathered pets throughout her life.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Edmund, two sons: Kenneth (Kristin) and Darren (Bernice); a daughter, Sharon Cusumano (Kurt); five grandchildren: Leigh (Courtney), Amanda Cusumano (Darrin), Peter (Samantha), Evan, and Leanne Bellouny; three great-grandchildren: Logan, Caden and Paisley Bellouny; a brother, Andrew (Joan) Holland; sister-in-law Mary Holland; and six nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Ned Holland and Edna (Holland) Zack, and a brother, Ned Jr.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
