In loving memory of Barbara Ann (Frohberg) Lynn. Barbara passed away at the age of 78 in Florida on January 6, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Barbara was born in East Meadow, New York on July 4, 1943, to the late George and Marion (Roode) Frohberg. Barbara was raised on Long Island, later became a long-time resident of Hankins, NY. She worked at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty, NY until becoming disabled by Parkinson’s. Finally, she moved to Melbourne, Florida and lived happily in an assisted living community near her brother George Frohberg and his family. Barbara enjoyed making jewelry, crocheting, and watching her favorite TV shows.

For all who knew Barbara it can’t go unsaid that she loved listening to Elvis Presley music and treasured all her Elvis collectables. She is remembered by many for her fiery spirit, work ethic, perseverance, strength, and determination to not let Parkinson’s get the better of her, and for her generosity and love for her family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father George Frohberg, her mother Marion (Roode) Frohberg, and sister Marion (Frohberg) Coburn. She is survived by her siblings George Frohberg and Georgina (Frohberg) Scardino. Her nieces and nephews, Scott Scardino, Sara (Scardino) Bonnaci, April Scardino, George Frohberg, Gina LaDrew, Eddie Frohberg, Christina Cusano, and Ronald Cusano. Barbara was also loved by many great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Graveside memorial service honoring Barbara’s life will be held in the spring (date to be announced) at Hortonville Cemetery, Hortonville, NY for both family and friends with reception immediately following.
