GRAHAMSVILLE –– The Bears hosted Eldred on Saturday afternoon for a league matchup between two teams that had a tough time against some of the other divisional teams. Eldred, who was looking for their first win of the season, tried to find it against the Bears, but the momentum for TV after their win over Fallsburg last weekend proved to be too much for Eldred, and the Bears won 34-14.

Brian Kelly threw for two first quarter touchdowns to give the bears a 15-0 lead, but Dominic Furlippa closed the gap after breaking free for a 43-yard rushing touchdown. Tri-Valley struck twice more in the first half and the score at the break was 27-6 with the Bears on top. After another Bears touchdown in the 3rd quarter, Tri-Valley was leading 34-6 entering the final 12 minutes of play. Dominic Furlippa, for the second time of the afternoon, found space and took off for a touchdown, this one for 75 yards. He ran the two-point conversion in as well and the score held at 34-14.
