After beating Liberty and Sullivan West on Mother’s Day, the Panthers had a packed schedule. They started with a matchup against Minisink, in which they suffered a 14-3 loss. From there, a double-header against Cornwall was on the docket for Tuesday. Already running low on pitching from the three previous games, the Panthers got swept by the Dragons at West Point, 14-2 and 16-0. After a day off Wednesday, Monticello had to take on Goshen, and the Panthers lost the matchup 8-0. Monticello had nine errors in the loss. On Friday the 13th, Monticello hosted Beacon. After falling behind early, the Panthers scored a few runs to keep the game close, but Beacon extended their lead near the end of a 9-3 win. To finally end their 8-game week, Monticello and Washingtonville dueled on Saturday. The game was tied at one apiece early, but the Wizards pulled away late, winning 5-1.

Fallsburg continued their season with matchups against Burke and O’Neill on Thursday and Friday. Burke pulled away early and won 14-2, and O’Neill put up 27 runs on Friday to win 27-5. Fallsburg fell to 1-11 on the season.

Eldred swept their season series against Roscoe on Thursday and Friday. The Yellowjackets won 17-1 on Thursday, with Josh Warming allowing one unearned run and no hits against the Blue Devils. On Friday, Roscoe was able to get some runs across, but Eldred tagged them for double digits in the 14-5 loss.

Monticello hosted Goshen for the league rematch. Goshen won the first matchup 15-2 in April, and won the second game 18-1 on Thursday.
