Condolences to the family and friends of Susan Gabriel. Our sympathy to Stanley Tremper’s family. I heard there was a lovely life celebration service held for Jessica S Rankin last week.

Congratulations to Judge Mark Meddaugh, having received the Howard A. Levine Award for Excellence in Juvenile Justice and Child Welfare. It is a well deserved honor given by the state Bar Association. Kudos to Jason Feldman who added sponsorship to the NYC Halloween Parade ensuring ‘it’s a GO’! Today, the world can thank science and the researchers for a Malaria Vaccine.

The Bethel Business Association and Local Table & Tap welcome you to a ‘BBA Happy Hour on Thursday, the 14th, at 5:30 p.m. Network, ‘meet and greet’, join the membership. (Cash bar). Register for Crawford Library’s ‘The Secrets of a Mockingbird: The Life of Harper Lee’ virtually on the 14th at 6 p.m. Albi plays the Cochecton Pump House on Thursday evening.

Bethel Woods opens ‘Peace, Love & Pumpkins’ Walk Through in the evenings from the 15th to the 31st. Get advance tickets: $20A, 10Y, 3-17. Open 6:30-10 p.m./ last entry 9 p.m. (Look forward to the Night Fall Festival Market to be held on the 29-31st). Burn Brae Mansion offers ‘Forest Fright Trail’ from 7-10 p.m. on the 15th and 16th and following weekends. 856-3335. Rocky Horror shows continue at FBPlayhouse on the 15th and 16th at 8 p.m. with dinner and drink service available from 6-7:30 p.m. Performances continue every weekend though October. DVAA hosts Gourjon-Bieltvedt’s and Macyn Bolt’s exhibits and the CAS-Laundry King offers Kalina’s exhibit until the end of October. HPAC offers the ‘Indigenous Women’s Voices’ Exhibit until Nov 7th.

NYC: Get tickets. Fall is a fabulous time for the MET, the NY Philharmonic, dance at City Center, or any number of shows!
