Our sympathy to the family and friends of Barbara “Missy” Runyan, local wildlife friend and expert who passed recently.

The Delaware Highlands Conservancy notes that the Van Scott Nature Reserve (Wayne Co) is now open with 144 acres to roam. Some Smallwood residents are affected by action on the 18th when JD Water Co turned off ‘seasonal water’ until Spring.

Visit the BW Museum. Docent tours are available Friday-Sundays. Shadowland offers a performance of “Niceties” at the ‘Studio’ from the 22nd to the 7th (Thur-Sun). Shadowland Youth Sessions continue until November 20. DVAA currently has exhibits and CAS-Laundry King is hosting one until the end of October. HPAC offers the ‘Indigenous Women’s Voices’ exhibit through Nov 7th.

NYC is fabulous in the Fall: Get tickets for the MET, the Philharmonic, dance at City Center, the last days of the Banksy exhibit, or any number of shows!
