Suz Sez, “Is this madness? As I write this column: An interview in Lviv, Ukraine with ‘Elana’, in a bomb shelter with her 3 children. Her English is fluent, she somehow presses on with hope as each day passes and admires ‘her people’ and her president, Zelensky. Support from NATO is present, sanctions are enforced, the US and other countries send aid as they are able, all the while civilians become more resolute, individually fighting with little weaponry compared to their foe. As the world watches, Putin charges on, innocents are killed, cities destroyed and war crimes mount... Note: US and NATO have yet to block Russian oil sales.” “Tyranny and oppression cannot be based on the price of a gallon of gas. What is the cost of freedom?”
