Our sympathy extends to the family and friends of Amanda Tweed who passed recently. Her memorial services were held on April 30th.

Condolences to the family and community of Dr Joseph Lauterstein whose funeral services were held April 19th.

As I write this, I am saddened by news of Daniel Thalmann’s passing. Such a kind, generous and good man, we extend our sympathy to his family and friends.

The Hurleyville college offers ‘Discover SUNY Sullivan Day’ on the 7th on campus from 10-1pm. The Hurleyville Gallery 222 Opening Reception for “It’s a Camera, Not a Magic Wand”, an exhibition by Jonathan C Fox, will be held on the 7th from 2-6pm. Hurleyville PAC offers SC Chamber Orchestra’s “Mother’s Day Family Concert’ on the 7th at 6pm. Attend the Eldred Preserve’s Kentucky Derby Watch Party event on Saturday from 3pm-Procession at 6pm.

Sunday is Mother’s Day. Celebrate and appreciate her! Hector’s Inn offers music of Keith Newman with cocktails from 3-6pm. Henning’s Local is taking reservations from 5-9pm. The Eldred Preserve offers a special Mother’s Day menu from 1pm and the Villa Roma has Brunch from 10-2pm.

Hurleyville PAC has programs and classes and screens ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ on the 6-8th, Fri and Sat at 7:30 and Sunday at 2pm. Callicoon Theater also offers “Doctor Strange...” on Friday through Monday, at 7:30 and adds a 2pm showing Saturday and Sunday.
