Parks & Rec offer Thursday ‘Dance It Off’ and Monday ’Walking Lakeside’ at Duggan at 4:45pm.

Lake Superior State Park is now open for boat rentals and picnicking every weekend through June, then daily through Labor Day. Swimming, beach or boating activity and rentals begin June 18th. Monticello High School’s ‘Hall of Distinction’ annual event takes place in the HS Auditorium on Friday, the 3rd, at noon. Congratulations to all deserving inductees, especially Cindy Gilmore, FNP!

The BBA is hosting a Triple Ribbon Cutting – Open House for INDUSTRY, Mason Jar Specialty Foods, and 3575 Kitchen in Kauneonga Lake at 11am. The event, with the support of the SC Chamber of Commerce, SCVA, Town of Bethel, and area organizations, also celebrates the new home for the BCA- Bethel Council of the Arts. Everyone is invited to enjoy ‘putting Bethel on the Map’ from 11am-2pm. Enjoy a great concert as Brad Paisley takes the Pavilion stage at Bethel Woods on Saturday evening, the 4th.

Attend the ‘1st Annual Trail Day’ at Forest Reserve at Smallwood on June 5th from 9am-Noon. Meet at the Exercise Park at 48 Richard Crumley Drive, Smallwood, bring gloves and volunteer to clean up Hemlock Trail. ‘Celtic Women’ perform at Bethel Woods on Sunday, the 5th, at 7:30pm.

Plan your Bethel Woods calendar and purchase your tickets. Register now for the 2022 P.L.A.Y Summer Programs. Sessions include two week introduction to the arts and/or ‘Rock Camp’ for 10-15yo and the weekly sessions are designed for 4-6 and 7-9yo.

Hurleyville PAC offers programs and the theater is screening ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ on the 3- 5th, Fri and Sat at 7:30 and Sunday at 2pm. Callicoon Theater also offers “Top Gun: Maverick” on the 3- 6th at 7:30 and adds 2pm showings on Saturday and Sunday. 

The Hurleyville SC Historical Museum hosts ‘Dirty Stay Out Skifflers’ on the 5th at 2pm.

Forestburgh Playhouse offers Under the Stars: ‘An Evening with T Oliver Reed’ on the 3rd and a performance with ‘Jay Armstrong Johnson’ on the 4th.

Look for local entertainment at Hector’s Inn and in the area at The Western, Rafters, Cabernet Franks, Dutch’s, and the Bashakill. And let’s remember to have some fun at all the spirits and craft beverage trail locations. Stay safe with a DD!
