Noah’s Arch at Monti Methodist Church, open Wednesday and Saturday, seeks baby to teenage size clothing donations. On the third Saturday of the month, the Mongaup Valley Methodist Church serves a clothing Give-A-Way pantry at 10am.

Save Lives: Be alert to school buses and, again, follow rules of the road or when you’re on the water. Knowledge of the waters you are in or boating on and wearing a life vest can save your life! Not donning a life vest is a serious, selfish act, lacking consideration. Besides your own, the emergency calls put many volunteer’s lives at risk as well!

White Lake is hosting the ‘93rd SC Volunteer Firefighters Association Parade’ on the 17th. Plan accordingly for this event or if you are traveling in the White Lake area. Line Up at noon /Step Off at 1pm. Parade Route: 17B x Rt55, from the Clock Tower to past the Firehouse. The Parade will be followed by the Trophy ceremony, Slam Allen music, hay maze and activities, Dana Beer Distributors and food vendors at Bethel Woods Harvest Fest site. Sponsored shuttle services will run between two stops and the Festival site. This will be a wonderful, organized event and an opportunity to show our support to the many local and surrounding area volunteer firefighters. FMI: wlfcstation35@gmail.com or 845-583-5170.

The Jeffersonville ‘Jeff Jamboree’ is scheduled for the 17th, starting with a Pancake Breakfast at 7:30am, Tractor Parade at noon, Duck Race at 3pm and events all day.

Liberty Soul Stage (1868 Rt 52), along with a number of musicians, host a Liberty Rotary Fundraiser on the 17th at 1pm. 

Also, on Saturday night, Hurleyville PAC hosts “Women STAND UP! Comedy” at 7:30pm.

And lastly, the New Century Community (Port Jervis) hosts ‘Moon Festival’ on the 17th from 11a-9pm and the 18th from 10a-7pm with food, music, vendors and fireworks!

Bethel Woods offers a Wellness Class before the Harvest Festival at the Terrace Stage at 10am. “Meditation with Amanda McCormick” is set for the 18th. The Bethel Woods Harvest Festival runs every Sunday from 11-4pm. Expect over 80 vendors, food, the corn maze, activities and live, on the Festival Stage: ‘The Delaware Valley Raptors’ at 12-1:30p and ‘The Other Band’ from 2-3:30pm. A Pie Eating Contest and the Bier Garden add to the activities of the day. ’The River Ramblers’ perform at the Cochection Pump House on Sunday, the 18th, at 2pm.‘Albi’ performs at Roscoe Beer Co on Sunday afternoons.
