Mrs. Bettyann Gulotta, a longtime resident of Yulan, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Liberty, NY. She was 76 years old. Bettyann was born on July 9, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph Gerardi and the late Rose Todero Gerardi. She was married to her beloved husband, Ignazio “Edward” Gulotta, for 39 years, until his passing in 2013.

Betty spent many years working as a retail manager for Caldor’s in Long Island, NY. A talented musician, Betty loved to sing, play the piano and guitar, and write her own beautiful songs. Her music was a gift she loved to share with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, bringing joy and comfort to them all. She was known for her loving spirit, and her family often described her as the true light of their world.

A devout Christian, Betty found peace and strength in her faith, often turning to the Bible for comfort. Her love for Jesus Christ was a central part of her life. Betty is survived by her two children, Donna and John; her stepchildren, Linda, Marco, Joey, Maryann, and Eddie; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who adored her; her brother, Vincent; and her niece, Christina. She was predeceased by her sister, Grace.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY, on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A private cremation will be held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium in Milford, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.
