YOUNGSVILLE – As of 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, the boil water advisory in the Youngsville Water District is no longer in effect. According to a press release from the Town of Callicoon website, the “conserve water emergency” has also been lifted as the water supply has been restored to close to normal capacity. The District put the water advisory in place on Monday, July 8 as the water levels had been low for this time of year.
“The District would like to thank all of the residents and businesses for their cooperation and patience while the water main break was repaired,” said the press release. “Thanks for your assistance in getting these important messages out to the people who reside in the Youngsville Water District.”
