Brenda J. (Stoll) Madsen of Parksville, NY, a 36-year resident, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY. She was 64.

The daughter of the late Fred, Jr. and Edith Racine Stoll, she was born December 24, 1957 in Port Jervis, NY.

Brenda had worked as a Registered Nurse at many locations throughout Sullivan County; she eventually gave up work to stay home with her children when they were young. She had been a member of the Liberty Presbyterian Church where she played the organ for many years. Brenda loved horses and animals but her pride and joy was her family; she loved spending time with her children, nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene “Gene” Madsen, at home; her daughter, Erin Madsen-Weber and her husband Jacob Weber, Jr. of Watervliet, NY; her son, Kevin Madsen of Parksville, NY; one sister, Linda Mole, of Cuddebackville, NY and several nieces and nephews.

The family has chosen to remember Brenda’s life privately at this time. A celebration of her life will be held in the Spring.
