Brian Bruce Wendler, who grew up in Liberty, NY, passed away in Florida on March 25. He was 50 years of age.
He was the son of the late Bruce and Patricia Wendler of Liberty, NY.
Brian was a skilled carpenter and amazed many with his work. He also loved his family cabin in the Adirondacks, Camp SOHI.
Brian was very charismatic and his smile would light up a room. He would help anyone in need and all who knew him loved him. Brian was full of life and energy. He had a deep love for outdoor concerts, working on his many gadgets and “toys” and cheering on his favorite team, the New York Yankees. He also adored his loyal dog, Luna, who was always by his side.
Known for his charisma and infectious smile, Brian had a heart of gold and a generous spirit. He never hesitated to help someone in need, and his warmth touched all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Motzer Wendler, children Logan Wendler and Briannah Wendler, sister April Wendler-Lasky, and nieces Zoe and Lexi Sisselman.
He was predeased by his best friend, Keith Sisselman.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on May 3 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Cox Road, White Sulphur Springs, NY 12787. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Colonial Ramsay Funeral Home.
