Brian Christopher Sykes, born October 5, 1969, passed away May 1, 2022. This man of extraordinary talent brought light and laughter into the lives of many. He was passionate and generous. His love for his family was unquestionable.
Brian is survived by his daughter, Melinda. She was a powerful source of love, happiness, and direction for him. Anyone that knew Brian knew how proud he was of his daughter. He beamed with joy as he gained a son-in-law when Melinda married Erik.
He is also survived by his twin sister, Michelle SanFilippo, the other half to Brian. A unique bond of love and compassion existed between them. Brian was born to and is survived by his parents and constant pillars of support, Edward T. and Joyce Sykes.
Additionally, he is survived by his partner of many years, Stacey Cruz, and her children, Madison and Mason Berlingeri. Brian leaves behind his brother Edward Sykes (and wife, Cherryl) and six nieces and nephews (all of whom will miss “Uncle Bri”).
Brian was a proficient electrician, carpenter, and artist. He loved fishing and music. These skills and hobbies brought him comfort and peace.
