The Forestburgh Playhouse parking lot was packed with representatives displaying swag and information about area businesses and organizations last Wednesday, as part of the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association’s 21st annual Brochure Swap Tailgate Event.
Attendees were eager to network and market their businesses, as even the occasional rain drops couldn’t dampen the excitement surrounding the plethora of events, activities and experiences to be had as summer quickly approaches.
"Our Annual Brochure Swap & BBQ was once again a successful event, with over 100 of our members getting the opportunity to network and hand out their information for distribution," said Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association Roberta Byron-Lockwood. "It’s a great way to get to know the many businesses, organizations, and associations right here in the Sullivan Catskills. With catering by Mr. Willy’s and the perfect location at the Forestburgh Playhouse, the event truly celebrated the tourism and hospitality industry that our Sullivan Catskills is known for. This year National Tourism Week celebrated the 'Future of Travel' and judging by the spirit and enthusiasm of our SCVA business…the future is bright!"
