Charles Clayton Colton of Livingston Manor, NY, an employee of Shaver Moving and Storage in Livingston Manor, NY and a longtime area resident died Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY. He was 58.
The son of the late Ellis B. and Madeline J. Davis Colton, he was born March 23, 1962 in Greene, NY.
Charlie enjoyed collecting coins and photography. His employment allowed him to travel and see many parts of the Country, which he enjoyed.
Survivors include two brothers, Ellis B. Colton, III and his wife Sun Cha Pok of So. Korea, and George W. Colton of Amory, MS; one sister, Teresa Katz and her husband Thomas of Liberty, NY; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a close friend and employer, Kent Shaver.
He was predeceased by his parents, and by two brothers, Richard A. Colton and Stewart J. Colton and his wife Jeannette Irwin Colton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
Burial will be in the Orchard Street Cemetery, Livingston Manor, NY, in the spring.
