Charlotte Wilson, 89, passed away peacefully in her daughter’s home on Monday, October 20th after a long battle with dementia/Alzheimers. Charlotte was predeceased by her beloved husband, James “Jimmy” Wilson.

Charlotte was a very hardworking and determined person who found joy in finding interesting objects and giving them a new life in her home. Charlotte loved people, brought joy to many, and could always be found in her flower garden. She also loved her role as the ‘hot dog lady,’ serving up the best hot dogs around to all her loyal customers. Her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brightened her days, and she brightened theirs. She loved her extended family and friends as well, always looking to gather everyone together for food, laughs and the makings of great memories of which there are so many.

Survivors include one son, Tom Wilson (Laurie), 2 daughters: Wendy Fascia (Brian) and Jami Schad (Tommy), 10 grandchildren: Ryan Shiffman (Kim), Cory Schad (Ashlea), Justin Shiffman (Kelly), Jimmy Wilson (Cassie), Taylor Shiffman, Casey Schad, Christopher Schad (Alaina), Brandon Fascia (Casey), Jordan Fascia, Sean Wilson, along with 4 great-grandchildren: Easton and Bryson Schad and Charlotte and Rose Shiffman.

Donations can be made to Hospice or an animal shelter in lieu of flowers. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct 25, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home,  396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, New York. Following the service, Charlotte will be buried next to her beloved late husband in Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. A gathering of friends and family in honor of the many lives she touched will be held at Casa Mia on Saturday beginning at 3:30 pm.
