SOUTH FALLSBURG – Bring the whole family to enjoy the Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop’s presentation of ‘Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and Then some)’.
“Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some)” will be making audiences laugh on Fridays and Saturdays, July 8 & 9, 15 & 16, at 8 p.m. and Sundays, July 10 & 17, at 2 p.m. at the Rivoli Theatre in South Fallsburg.
Tickets are $15, $12 for Seniors, Students and Military. Advance tickets at www.my rivertickets.com
The show is a mixture of vignettes that includes the Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Grinch, Rudolph, Christmas Around the World, a fruitcake game show, Frosty the Snowman, the films A Christmas Story and It's A Wonderful Life and Dicken's A Christmas Carol.
Children will enjoy the slapstick humor while adults will appreciate the innuendos and jokes sprinkled throughout the performance.
It's a high-energy production by Michael Carleton, John K. Alvarez & James Fitzgerald with an amazingly talented cast. Lynne Porter plays the straight "man" while Julia Kehrley frustrates Lynne at every turn.
Harold Tighe rounds out the brilliant cast. Skillfully directed by Harold Tighe, produced by Heather Strauss and featuring the remarkable set-changing skills of the stage managers, Julianne Porter and Willhana Burdick, "Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some") is sure to delight. Grace Summa is the outstanding Technical Director and the Costume Designer par excellence is Jean Eifert.
