The Fallsburg Comets and Liberty Indians were both defeated in their respective contests. Fallsburg traveled to Ellenville in an 8-man contest that could be described as a shootout. The Blue Devils ultimately took care of business, winning 58-36. Liberty made the trip to Saugerties in an 11-man contest. The hometown Sawyers picked up their first victory of the season after dispatching the Indians, 35-14.
Fallsburg and Liberty are back in action on Friday, with the Comets hosting Eldred, and the Indians traveling to Rondout Valley to face the Ganders.

Volleyball
Liberty defeated Sullivan West 3-0 with sets of 25-12, 25-12, and 25-19.
Girls Soccer
Liberty hosted Livingston Manor on Friday night and the Lady Indians defeated the Lady Wildcats 2-0 in a hard fought game. The goalkeepers combined for 15 saves apiece, seven for Liberty’s Charlyanna Johnson and 8 for LM’s Hailey Wolcott.
Tri-Valley suffered their first loss of the season in a league matchup against Burke in a game that had been rescheculed multiple times. On Thursday, the night before the Burke loss, Tri-Valley defeated Seward 5-4. The Lady Bears are 8-1-2 going into their final few games of the season.
Boys Soccer
Fallsburg defeated Chapel Field 4-1 on Friday afternoon. Cristian Garcia scored twice, Jose Aleman and Frank Dubon each added a goal as well.
