The Cochecton Pumphouse held a fundraiser to benefit the Sullivan County SPCA on Saturday, August 20th.

Actress Melissa Gilbert hosted and emceed the event that drew in over 50 participating canine contestants wearing both high fashioned pet wardrobe and a variety of costumes judged by a panel of local celebrity judges.

It included both silent auction and raffle items and SPCA staff and volunteers were also in attendance selling merchandise, including handmade items customized specifically for the shelter.

The total proceeds raised reached $5350 which was donated in entirety to aid in the care of the animals at the shelter.
