COCHECTON - Cochecton Township may be seeing new development in Lake Huntington with the prospect of a new Dollar General location.

Cochecton Town Supervisor Gary Maas told the Democrat that the chain is looking to open a store in the town along County Road 114. However, due to property line issues, the project has been placed on pause and will be discussed at the town’s next planning board meeting, according to Maas.

Cochecton’s Planning Board is set to meet on September 29 at 3:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, located at 74 Smales Road, Lake Huntington.
