Doris L. Manchester, age 95, of Mount Pocono, PA, died Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Smith Health Care in Mountain Top, PA. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Manchester, who passed away in 1985.

Born in Beech Hill, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Perry and Florence (Sturdvant) Shaver.

Doris was President of Pocono Pines Friendly Center, was a member of the RSVP Retired Seniors Volunteer Program, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Green of Hazleton; her son, Steven Hecht of Roscoe, N.Y., four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Thanks to Smith Health Care Administration and entire staff for the loving and exemplary care they provided for her these past three years.

The love she had for her family will be cherished forever in our hearts. We love you Mom.

There will be no services at this time, private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory, Cresco, PA.
