JEFFERSONVILLE — Things were just ducky in Jeffersonville on Saturday afternoon as the Jeff JEMS once again entertained the crowd with their annual duck race. 

A fundraiser for the village beautification group, the race drew a standing room only crowd onto and around the Schadt Memorial Bridge to watch hundreds of colorful ducks float down the creek to the finish line. 

Winning this year’s race was a duck purchased by Sara Frank. Second place went to Linda Rajlevsky while the third place duck belonged to Linda Corshen. Ava Steppich’s “pokey” duck came in at the very end of the race to earn her a prize.
