This Saturday, March 15, there will be a lotta ‘Wearin of the Green” along Main St., Jeffersonville as those who are Irish – and those who wanna be - join the rightful Ancient Order of Hibernarians Sullivan Brothers Division 1 of Sullivan County and the Jeffersonville Fire Dept. for their 13th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. There will be a flippin of the pancakes from 8 a.m. until noon at St. George’s Church and a 10 a.m. AOH Mass at St. George’s Church, all are welcome. From there it’s down to the main thoroughfare for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which will feature the McPadden Pipes & Drums along with many floats, marchers and Irish blessings given by the MCs. It’s a great day to be in Jeffersonville, just follow the green. Pictured is AOH President Brian Barlow in last year’s parade.
