COCHECTON — Next month, Friends of EverGreen Meadow Academy will honor visionary supporters who have been working to raise support for what will be the only residential middle school in New York State for girls who are living with the impacts of trauma. Event details:

The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan

The Center for Discovery will get accolades for leading the way in integrating healthful eating and the natural environment into the healing process and donating 34 bucolic acres to build EverGreen Meadow Academy middle school and treatment center.
Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan will receive kudos for being first in funding EverGreen Meadow Services in Sullivan County, opening new doors and providing critical strategic support.
Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther will be honored for her efforts to raise awareness about the growing adolescent mental health crisis and securing funding to support programs and services for young girls in Sullivan County and across the state.
