Giveaway Alert: Enter to win our favorite Savory Salts

In the words of the great Spice Girls, I “Spiced up my Life” in 2020. During quarantine, my boyfriend and I discovered David Chang's savory salts and they have quite literally changed our lives.

So much so, that I bought these salts for my father, brother, and pretty much anyone who enjoys a good steak. David Chang is an award winning chef, and founder of Momofuku. He has won 6 James Beard Awards, is a New York Times bestseller, and has his documentary series on Netflix titled Ugly Delicious. Dave and I are not friends (we are in my mind).

If David Chang even knew who I was, I think I would have a stroke. I look up to David Chang in so many ways, and always knew he was a brilliant chef, thinking outside the box of what truly is delicious, and knowing that sometimes it doesn't always look delicious.

Chang dropped a line of savory salts over quarantine and I had mediocre expectations for them. I bought them for my boyfriend, knowing we needed something to spice up our everyday cooking. I cannot say enough good things about these salts.

The “savory” salt actually has a depth of umami flavor that pairs perfectly with just about anything, but we enjoy sprinkled on meat before cooking (use these salts during my butter basted steak recipe). It's like an amped up salt and pepper blend.

The “spicy” seasoning salt blend is perfect on pizza. There is a flavor profile of the spicy salt that really rounds out any flavor you are trying it on.

Lastly, their is a “tingly” salt, which is my sister's favorite, amazing on just about anything as well. I am not lying when I say we travel with these salts (my father can attest).

You really cannot go wrong, and that is why I have decided to start this new year off with a giveaway! To enter, all you need to do is email me your favorite recipe at cmh08343@gmail.com by January 31st.

I will choose one lucky winner to send out a set! I don't want to discourage you from buying your own, so please visit momofuku.com to purchase your own set of salts if you are not chosen.

We have since bought 3 sets of these salts to replenish, and they are such an amazing addition to our large collection of marinades. Happy New Year!
