Regarding the Liberty Litterpluck photo in the April 26th issue of the paper. I was appalled, but not surprised, at the amount of trash bags collected for the Clean Up Day. I live on a well traveled road and we are always picking up trash - coffee cups, beer and soda cans, fast food wrappers, and even glass! Even in this time of “awareness” of global warming, climate change, fossil fuel usage, etc., people are still tossing trash from their cars like the world is their garbage can. I don’t get it. But, thank you to the clean up committee for the good work!
