The Selfless Prekindergarten annual spring fundraiser recipient is Jill’s Ferals whose mission is to help homeless cats. Jill’s Ferals is a private Trap-Neuter-Release assistance and adoption organization operating in the Port Jervis, NY and the Tri-State area. Jill works with residents, businesses and local governments to humanely trap feral and community cats, spay, neuter and rabies vaccinate them and return them to their colonies where they are fed and watched over by kind caretakers. Trapped kittens and social adults are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted.

Fourth graders at George Ross Mackenzie Elementary School (GRM) inEldred decorated the lovely goodie bags with artwork. Fifth graders made posters and helped the little ones put cat food treats in the bags. Student Council members went around selling the little bags filled with a treat. The students loved working together and celebrated that their hard work and collaboration paid off by presenting Jill Wojtasek with $200!
