On Sunday, September 11 the Town of Highland held its 9/11 Memorial Commemoration in Hero’s Park in Eldred. The keynote speaker was State Senator Mike Martucci. The Town gathered to mark the 21st Anniversary of the terrorist attacks and to remember with sorrow the thousands of people who lost their lives that day. They were also there to honor the dedication of those first responders who selflessly answered the call to duty during the tragic event.
