No matter what happens with Punxsutawney Phil on groundhogs day, it is still six weeks until spring!

We all know that if the sun is out he will cast a shadow, get scared and run back into his home.

The same with if the sun is not out and there's no shadow he stays out and there's early spring. Either way it's still 6 weeks until spring.

In the last 118 years he's been right 64.4% of the time for a 6 week period.

Our weathermen only forecast 10 days right about 50% of the time, they are lucky they get two days in a row right.

Maybe it's time for weather forecasters to learn from the groundhogs!

Other than that Ed, it's Mother Nature and I'm not blaming her for a second.
