Indians get big win!

LIBERTY – The Liberty Indians Boys Soccer team had a rough start to the season, opening up 0-3 after only losing one game last year. They hosted Chester at home and defeated the Hambletonians easily, 7-0. Anthony Llaguarima, Logan Danzilo (2), Bryan Bajana, Norlis Acosta, Riley Totten and Denilson Turcios Mejia all scored goals in the win.

Girls’ Soccer

Tri-Valley visited Livingston Manor on Tuesday to take on the Lady Wildcats. The Lady Bears scored early and often in the 8-0 win. Jenna Carmody, Brooke Delaney, Kendall McGregor, Kaytlyn Ingrassia, Grace Gozza, Sierra Mickelson, Riley Kelly and Clare Verbert all scored in the win.

Volleyball

Sullivan West and Goshen squared off on the Volleyball court Wednesday night, and it was Goshen that won all three sets: 25-14, 25-14, and 25-9.

Cross Country

Livingston Manor squared off in a non-league match against Burke Catholic and Tuxedo on Tuesday. Livingston Manor boys defeated Tuxedo 46-57 and Burke 15-50. The girls didn’t have enough to qualify so Burke’s girls won 15-50.

Eldred hosted Chester and Seward, but none of the three schools had enough runners to qualify for a score in the non-league meet. Regan Kizer was the fastest girl, clocking in at 30:11.
