Jacobowitz and Gubits welcomes two new Attorneys to the Firm

WALDEN - Jacobowitz and Gubits, LLP is pleased to announce that Lauren E. Scott and Eric B. Wharton have joined the firm’s Litigation team as Associate Attorneys.

Lauren E. Scott earned her Bachelor of Arts in 2005 from the State University of New York, Cortland with a major in Anthropology. She earned her Masters of Art in Internal Law and Public Policy from the American University of Paris in France in 2011. Lauren earned her Juris Doctorate in 2017 from the New York Law School. Lauren has worked in the Attorney General’s Office as Charities Bureau Evaluator and as an independent contractor for several law firms where she focused on fraud detection and money laundering. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2018.

Eric B. Wharton earned his Bachelor of Arts in 2012 from the State University of New York, New Paltz with a major in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 2016 from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law. Eric has worked in several law firms focusing on motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, and dog bites. Eric was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2020 and the New Jersey State Bar in 2018. “We are always looking to expand our team of talented and hardworking attorneys. We are excited to announce that the firm continues to grow, and Lauren and Eric make great additions to our litigation team”, said Michele Babcock, Managing Partner at Jacobowitz and Gubits.
