A big “thank you” to the Ancient Order of Hibernians for a wonderful, fun filled St. Patrick's Day Parade! The McPadden Pipes & Drums and the Hudson Valley Regional Police Pipes & Drums were the best, leading fire departments, ambulance corps, groups, floats and marchers down the road. A beautiful sunny Spring Saturday!

I want to welcome Dustin and his business, VIP Fitness, Jeffersonville (located at 4889 State Rte 52 in Jeffersonville), a personal training studio. I took some time off from writing my column and he “fell through the cracks”.

I am very sorry that happened. He has changed my husband David's life by helping him to build his body through CrossFit when they were in Liberty. We are so very happy Dustin has moved to our town! Allow them to help change your life! By appointment only! View their website for schedules at www.vipfitnessny.com or call (845) 482-2514 for more information.

They are obsessed with quality and providing the best equipment possible. (Two new Bikes, and a new Trueform Treadmill to start) A large amount of time went into ensuring that you feel welcome when you go there. There is a waiting area for your children that has a PlayStation 4 and Netflix to keep them entertained and off the main floor. The space is small; however, it is more than big enough to accommodate two people at the same time and allow for social distancing.

Everything they do is to optimize and make sure your experience is unrivaled from other gyms. They provide awesome personal training by having awesome programs. You have the ability to buy your membership online and fill out all necessary paperwork before you even enter the gym! A great addition to our town!

Applications from Sullivan County youth are being accepted through April 15 for the following scholarship opportunities: the Earle and Elizabeth Wilde/Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County Scholarship and The Skoda Family Scholarship.
