Spring is coming! The Protection Hose Company No. 1 of Jeffersonville is hosting their 19th Annual Chicken Barbecue at the Jeffersonville Catholic Church on Schoolhouse Road on Sunday, April 11th from 1 - 3 p.m. Drive-Thru only with a donation of $10 each. Contact a firefighter for your ticket(s) and help support your local volunteer Fire Department!

CATSKILL CycleWorks (located at 4920 Main Street, Jeffersonville) is a new bicycle shop in Jeffersonville! They offer road, mountain and gravel bikes for adults and kids, accessories, apparel and service/repairs. Bring your bikes by for a spring tune-up or stop in to check out new arrivals.

Spring/Summer group rides are in the works - Winter hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Jeffersonville is excited to welcome a new business to town! Please take a moment and stop in and see what they have to offer!

Forthright Cyder & Mead (located at 4052 State Route 52, Youngsville) has something very special fermenting for March: their first Forthright collab with Tree Juice Maple Syrup. They've been a fan of Tree Juice for a while now and are excited to launch this seasonal cyser at the end of the month. Just in time for maple season! The Tasting Garden will re-open on Friday, March 19th with glasses of cysers and cyders on-site as well as growlers to-go! Open Monday, Friday and Saturday from 12 - 6 p.m.

Just reported! The Ancient Order of Hibernians pick for Grand Marshall for their Jeffersonville's Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is Jim Graham! The parade, being held on Saturday, March 20th, will be led by the McPadden Pipes & Drums, Hudson Valley Regional Police Pipes & Drums, AOH Sullivan Brothers, our own Jeffersonville Protection Hose #1. Call (845) 482-3872 FMI and to enter your floats, group, club, Fire Department, Ambulance Corps., band, etc.

Lineup on Willy Avenue at noon and parade starts at 1 p.m. Please come on out - bring your family and friends and enjoy the Parade! Face coverings required and social distancing will be enforced.

Come out for a great night of entertainment with Al Russo, one of the best Frank Sinatra Tribute Singers you will ever get to enjoy on Saturday, May 15th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event will be held in Lulu's Social Club. (over the Jeff Bake Shop-Main Street, Jeffersonville) Bill Gulino, pianist, will open the program followed by Mr. Russo.

Tickets are $40 and include Light Fare, a Sweet Bite and a glass of bubbly, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverage will also be available for purchase. Limited to 50 presale tickets that can be purchased at The Secret Garden or by calling Sue at (845) 482-5354. (Last date to purchase tickets: May 7th.) Social distancing will be followed and masks required. The event is sponsored by JEMS Beautification Group and Jeff Bake Shop.

The Western Sullivan Public Library is trying to help keep the children happy with a “Virtual Storytime”. Families with children under 5 read together, sing songs, learn age-old rhymes, participate in activities, crafts and play too! Register Via Zoom to obtain a link - 10:30 a.m.on Thursday, March 18th or via Facebook Live on Thursday, April 8th. Next, for the children, they offer “Take & Make Craft Kits” where each week the library will be putting out brand new kits for you to take home and enjoy. Between March 13th to 20th: Color-In Space Magnets, March 20th to 27th: Color-In Windchimes and March 27th to 31st: Scratch-Off Animal Masks!
