Joan-Marie Bauman of Monticello, NY, passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 75 after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer. She is survived by her husband Frederick, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Joan-Marie had a successful career in New York City as an innovative conservation picture framer, working with major artists, museums, and collectors. She was also an art consultant and an expert at rug and fabric restoration. She also spent more than a decade as an executive chef of the annual arts weekend at the Lake Conference Center in Tusten.
There will be a graveside memorial for Joan-Marie at the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello at 1:00 pm Sunday, June 19, 2022. In lieu of flowers , contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
