I just got back from a nice weekend away up in Schoharie County at my friend Paula's house. I have not seen her since our cruise to Alaska this time last year. I am Paula's daughter Mary's godmother and she asked me to be her sponsor for her confirmation. I was so honored to be her sponsor she took the name Anne after my mom.

We were sitting in church with our masks on and church starts time for communion, and I felt like I was back in catholic school. OH NO, I have gum in my mouth! I automatically had flashbacks looking around for a nun, coming over to me yelling out my name and putting her hand under my chin and telling me to spit it out. I opened my pocketbook. I did not have a tissue or anything to put it in. I take the body of Christ in my hand when I lift the mask I just did a switch host in gum out.

Cochecton Youth Commission has so much going on. Please follow them on their facebook page New Cochecton Youth Commission for upcoming events. The next meeting is on Tuesday October 6th at 7:00. There is an opening on the board, if you are interested, please stop by the meeting and speak to the president Sue Grund for more information. At the meeting the board will be discussing what the CYC will do for Halloween Trick-A-Trunk. Lot's going on with The CYC.

As I was going through Facebook over the weekend, I saw a post from Brian and Michael Popolillo wishing their parents a happy anniversary.

Mike and Patty, I wish you a happy and healthy anniversary, you make a great couple. I also got a message from Sue Grund letting me know her mom and dad just had their 44th wedding anniversary. Ed and Diane keep up the good work, lots more years of love and happiness.
