SULLIVAN COUNTY — On January 12th Officers were dispatched to the Knights Inn Motel to investigate a report of children being left alone and unsupervised. After being unable to locate a parent or guardian for the children they were temporarily turned over to the Care of Child Protective Services. Officers were able to locate the mother the following day, staying at a Motel in the Village of Monticello.

Chrisdiana Chandler, 32 of Liberty, was taken into custody without incident. She was charged with 3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, class A misdemeanors.

She was arraigned in the Town of Liberty Court in front of the Honorable Judge Stabak and in accordance with New York State Bail reform laws was released on her own recognizance.
