MONTICELLO  — Trustee Petitions for the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library are now available for 3-year, 2-year and 1-year Terms.

For the Trustee elections, petitions will be accepted at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello on Friday, August 9. 

There are six board seats up for election:

Three seats throughout the entire 3-year period (1/1/25 – 12/31/27)

For the latter two years of the two 3-year terms (1/1/24–12/31/26), there are two seats available.

For the final year of a 3-year term (1/1/23 – 12/31/25), there will be one seat.

3-term incumbents Lisa Clark (three years) is not running for reelection, while incumbents Richard Arnold (three years), Lois Berkowitz and Jane Rosenzweig (two years), and Lynne Albuquerque (one year) are. There is currently one open 3-year seat on the board.
