Linda J. Blaso, age 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2022 at home in Lake Huntington, NY. Born on November 23, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Vincent and Helen Rummell. Linda married George W. Blaso in 1969 and they celebrated 52 years together. 

Linda was a member of Our Lady of Lake Roman Catholic Church, Lake Huntington, and the Ladies Club of Lake Huntington. She enjoyed horseback riding, country dancing and long rides into Pennsylvania for shopping. 

Linda is survived by her husband George and her four children: George Blaso and wife Maria of Lake Huntington, Jennifer Breslin and husband Christopher of Long Island, Maryann Oumrim and husband Mustapha of Lake Huntington, and Christina Plattman and husband Miles of Long Island; her grandchildren: Thomas Breslin, John Paul Breslin, Youssef Oumrim, Jocelynn Oumrim and step-grandchildren: Todd Bohem, Adam Bohem, and Demi Bohem; and her sister Adrian Simonin of Long Island. 

Visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2:00 pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm and Monday May 16, 2022 from 11:00am – 12:00pm at the Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home, 3412 SR 97, Barryville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm at the St. Francis Xavier Church, Bridge Street, Narrowsburg, NY. 

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Francis Xavier, Narrowsburg, NY.
