CALLICOON — All six girls golf teams in Sullivan County met up at the Villa Roma golf course to compete in a divisional match on early Monday afternoon.
Sixteen girls from around Sullivan County departed from the clubhouse at 1 p.m., as the golfers managed to beat the potential inclement weather that was set to roll in.
Despite storm clouds rolling in and a bit of thunder in the distance, the girls were able to complete their rounds without issue.
The ladies from Livingston Manor won the day, with their three combined golfers scoring a match-best 172. They were followed closely by Monticello at 177, though their score was adjusted to 204 due to only having two golfers.
After the adjustments, Liberty took second place with a score of 192. Tri-Valley was third with 203, followed by Monticello (204), Sullivan West (205) and Fallsburg (206).
